History, natural beauty, charm and culture are what have made Capri one of the most desirable tourist destinations of all time. From Roman emperors who ruled from their magnificent villas on the island of Capri, to famous writers, painters and rich, eccentric visitors: many chose the island as their permanent residence, building villas and contributing to the creation of the cosmopolitan colony that made famous the name of Capri and established the island's myth.
Located at one the most panoramic and exclusive sites of the island, Studio 1 and Studio 2 offer 2 panoramic independent accommodations each with separate entrance. From each apartment and as well as from the spacious terraces and pool-side, guests can enjoy the open view of the magnificent bay below.
The whole property, which also accomodates the villa of the owners (just a couple, the wife of which is English), consists of about 4.000 sqm and is just a 5 minute drive from where access to the Blue Grotto starts, and close to the Nettuno bathing establishment.
The villa is also 40 meters from the bus stop, where a five-minute ride will take you to the Blue Grotto entrance or, in 10 minutes, to Anacapri.
Please note that only permanent residents are allowed cars on the island. Making taxis, buses or rented motorbikes necessary to get around the island
What to do and where to go
Capri is not at all a sandy beach resort, but rather an enormous, jagged rock, upon which generations of locals and visitors have been inspired to celebrate the joy of living. Capri is reached by regular hydrofoils parting from Naples and docking at the island's Marina Grande
Take a chair lift up to the top of Solaro to enjoy views over the whole island. Dine in one of the excellent seafood restaurants along the bustling harbour at Marina Grande; enjoy a limoncello-specialtà caprese!-in the the Piazzetta ( the hearth of Capri) ; walk the famous Tragara walk; visit the medieval monastery Certosa di San Giacomo, the lovely park Giardini di Augusto, or the Roman ruins of the Villa Jovis. Or stick close to home at the beach club Nettuno
.... and of course visit Ischia, Positano, Pompei, Naples, Procida, Herculaneum, Paestum, the Vesuvio
