Villa Mafalda  was built by Prince von Essen who loved to paint the spectacular views of the island. His nephew recently restored the villa and  made it even more wonderful . The house is located on the road to the Blue grotto and just 3km's to the centre of Anacapri and even less to the Blu Grotto beach. The fenced gardens offer breathtaking views of the blue sea and is full of Mediterranean fragrant flowers. Olive trees surround the very large terrace, decorated with pots marbles and statues. The circular pool is just off to the side of the house

 The recent and complete restoration of the property has preserved the authentic architecture of this beautiful  home, built by a famous aristocratic  family. Each piece has been carefully chosen to create a harmonious blend between classic good taste and comforts Beautiful paintings  and prints adorns the walls, filling each room with warmth, character and distinction.
• The  Comfortable sitting area  with beautifully upholstered  sofa and armchairs, antique and decorative fireplace opens directly to   the al fresco dining  patio  and the garden
• Blue Bedroom: Air conditioned  double bedroom opening to the garden, ensuite bathroom (shower)-  On request this bedroom can be fitted as a twin bedded room
• Yellow Bedroom: Air conditioned double bedroom  with separate private bathroom (tub) On request this bedroom can be fitted as a twin bedded room
• Twin Bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower) this bedroom is not air conditioned as it is located in the coolest part of the villa with north facing window. Beds cannot be joined
• Formal dining room with table for 10 and double doors opening to the pool side area.
• Fully equipped kitchen (4-burner gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, freezer, dishwasher)
• Laundry room washing machine
