Casa Giovanni belongs to the Robilant estate, 60 acres of land on the top of the hill that develops into different levels and includes Casa Pupa, Casa Rossa and Casa Selva.
Casa Giovanni is a cozy detached house set on a large ground ( about 500 mq ).
Casa Pupa, Rossa and Selva (the other holiday rental houses belonging to the Robilant estate -total 60 acres -) are 150 meters away on the left and being on a different level cannot be seen from Casa Giovanni. On the opposite side, 80 meters away, there is a small ancient village where cars are not allowed. A nice inexpensive bar restaurant is located in the village, just at a 5 minutes walk from the house!
While Giovanni's architecture is simple, the interior is tastefully furnished with a stylish, modern feel, and measures 90 square metres total. The house consists of only one level therefore can be recommended to people with walking difficulties.
It features one double bedroom (only one bed that cannot be set as two twin beds), one twin bedroom, the bathroom with tub, the living room, one kitchen equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and oven. Maid service may be arranged upon request.
Varenna 3 km downhill has all kind of shops, restaurants, a railroad station ( Milan can be reached in 1 hour), the ferry launches to Bellagio and Menaggio (in 15 minutes), a pebbly beach.
Technical Description
Living/dining room, CD player, Kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine. TV sat, BBQ, Outside furnishing, Hairdryer. Internet at the Restaurant/bar (80 meters from the house). One bedroom with a double bed, and bathroom with tub and handheld shower. One bedroom with two single, joinable beds.
Unless rented with Casa Pupa or Casa Rossa, Casa Giovanni guests have no access to the pools and to the ground where Pupa and Rossa are located.
The guests of Casa Giovanni have access to the tennis court.
All the properties of the Robilant Estate can be rented together to a large group ( up to 31 pax)
A well behawed dog is welcome at Casa Giovanni provided it stays close to the house. (Pets are not allowed in Casa Pupa, Casa Rossa and Selva areas)
There is no lake view from Casa Giovanni, but you can see the Castle belonging to the property. The nice walk close to the tennis court is equipped with benches providing open view of the lake.
