ABOUT THE COMPLEX

The complex has a security controlled access and sits on 50.000 sqm. In this area there is two large buildings, each with approximately 54 Units plus a separate smaller house where there are 4 units: Fran belongs to this smaller house therefore offers a favourable and more private setting. There are two heated pools to share among the units, one (10x10 meters) is for children the other one (20x 10 meters for adults). The garden is large, and very well kept with mature trees and bushes. Each unit has its own private garage. The pools opening dates are June 15 to September 15.

LOCATION

Fran is 6 km from Arona (southward) and Stresa (northward). The small town of Lesa is 3 km downhill (which is about a 5 min drive). There you can find restaurants, post office, alimentary shops, and chemistry. In Lesa there are a couple of beaches and a sports centre with swimming pool, tennis and other sports equipment.

ACTIVITIES

Midway between Stresa and Arona, this location offers a variety of sights and activities. You can visit the Borromean Islands, named for the family that has owned them since the 12th century. Isola Bella, the largest, with magnificent gardens and the Palazzo Borromeo,. Isola Madre with exotic birds. Isola dei Pescatori an ancient fishing village with narrow streets and wonderful restaurants. You can explore mountains, lakeshore villages, markets, and spas; or cross the border into nearby Switzerland. There is excellent hiking in the Valle Grande, and excellent golfing, with two courses within a 10-15 minute drive and seven more less than an hour away. From Arona and Stresa the train to Milan takes about an hour.

FRAN is a 110 sqm. Located on the second floor in a modern building. It consists of a living room with kitchenette and dining area, two bedrooms, one bathroom with tub, and one toilet with basin and WC. An outside area for al fresco dining, and a garage for 2 cars. The living room with french doors accessing the garden, is divided into a comfortable relaxing area with a sofa, TV, dining area with a table for six people and a kitchenette behind.

There are also one double bedroom with bed-side tables, one bedroom with two single beds which can't be attached. The main bathroom has a bath with tub plus a handled shower. Outside, the pertinent area directly accessed from the living room has 2 lounge chairs and a table and chairs for al fresco dining. Facilities: washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, TV sat, toaster, American coffee machine, central heating.

Fran offers a comfortable and very convenient stay, it is ideal for a couple with two children.
