This elegant accommodation is part of a beautiful historic complex owned, loved and respected by the same family for more than 400 years. La Colombella sleeps up to 10 people in 5 double bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. It has air conditioning and Internet connection.

It is located at 3 km from the lovely town of Peschiera del Garda and thanks to its strategic position, it is an ideal starting point for unforgettable cultural, artistic and naturalistic excursions.

The current configuration was defined by an important project in 1734, when it became property of the family. This project was one of the very first examples of an architecture that found immense success in the Veronese territory during the following years. The whole property has been totally restored in 2007. This unique property consists of two main parts, the villa of the owner with its magnificent main court ( not available for rent ) and the old rural courtyard that has been converted into a splendid Relais composed of 15 large and beautiful accommodations featuring many facilities. Our rental, La Colombella, is located just outside the old courtyard and it has its own independent entrance.

Just outside of the beautiful courtyard there is a large park with tall hedges and age-old trees where the guests can find moments of absolute tranquillity.

In the garden that surrounds the courtyard there is a swimming pool, which is long and narrow (5x16 meters); perfect for a long swim or a refreshing plunge. The guests can also enjoy a sun bath on comfortable deckchairs. The pool is shared among all the guests of the property.

The whole estate measures 2 hectares

La Colombella is located just outside the old courtyard and it has its own independent entrance.

It has a private garden just in front of the house with garden furniture and shaded areas.

The whole property is located in a very quiet spot; on one side it is surrounded by the large park and on the other side it borders on a Golf Club. Click here to view the estate. The lovely town of Peschiera del Garda is at about 3 km and thanks to its strategic position, it is an ideal starting point for unforgettable cultural, artistic and naturalistic excursion. In Peschiera del Garda there are many nice shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

La Colombella sleeps up to 10 people in 5 double bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and it is fully air conditioned.

La Colombella is characterized by charming touches both in the furnishings and the details. Equipped with every comfort and luxurious facilities, it has been restored maintaining its originality and structure.

It was personally furnished by the owner with the intention to have guests live a unique experience of times past.

On the ground floor there are a bright living room, a dining room with a table for 10, laundry room, and a fully equipped kitchen. On this floor there are also a twin bedroom, one bathroom with shower, a small room for an extra bed, and one guests / half bathroom.

On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and 3 bathrooms, two with bathtub and one with shower.

From this floor a staircase leads to the last 2 floors of the house, which are located in a very romantic tower.

On the first level of the tower there is one bathroom with bath tub with shower head.

On the second level of the tower there is one double/twin bedroom.

Each room has different characteristics and furnishings, with antique furniture pieces and ancient prints and paintings, so as to give the feeling of being in one’s own house. Some of the bedrooms have a nice view over the a Golf Club; others overlook the inside of the courtyard and the garden.

The guests will also have access to all the services of the Golf Club,” such as, for example, the Wellness Centre, the golf courses, the tennis courts and the soccer field.

Please note that new photos will be available in May when the decoration of La Colombella will be completed. This means that some rooms will be a bit different from the present time.

Activities

With a passage at the sole disposal of the guests of the estate one easily reaches the Club House of the Golf Club.

The Golf winds along the sweet hills of the Lake Garda region, interrupted by striking views of the Monte Baldo and of the blue of the lake. The 18 championship holes extend on a surface of 800,000 square meters.

At the Golf Club there is a sports centre with soccer and five-a-side soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, beach volley, a semi-Olympic swimming pool, a children’s swimming pool and a Wellness centre.

The area

With its clear, clean and warm water, sunny beaches, mild climate and Mediterranean vegetation, Lake Garda is like a small sea set between the last spurs of the Alps and the Lombardy plain. Garda has been a favoured spot since Roman times and has been lauded by poets and writers through the ages, for example, Catullus, Goethe, Joyce and D'Annunzio. It unites its natural beauty with the traces of its history, from Roman remains to Liberty.

There are many interesting little towns situated along the coast or up the hills, - Salò (39 km) and the beautiful Sirmione (11 km) - rich of history, culture, good restaurants and shops.

It has two bedrooms with two bathrooms and a large living room ( sofa bed ) with kitchenette.

Size: 80-90 square meters.

THREE-BEDROOM APARTMENT ( 6 + 2 )

It has three bedrooms with three bathrooms and a large living room ( sofa bed ) with kitchenette and dishwasher.

Size: from 90 to 110 square meters.

APARTMENTS FEATURES

Kitchenette, coffee maker (filter), kettle, dishes, glasses, silverware, refrigerator, dishwasher (in the 3-bedroom and in some 2-bedroom apartments), hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, safety box, satellite TV, telephone, internet connection.

The decorations, the style and the quality of materials of the apartments are as good and elegant as La Colombella.
