Set in the village of Meina on the main road, Nuvoletta is beautiful appointed accommodation on the water's edge.

The rental is a base for virtually any kind of vacation; meditative walks into the mountains, sunny afternoons by the private beach, day trips to the Borromeo islands. Sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing as well as excellent golfing is available in the area. In 1 hour by train, or by car, you can spend your day shopping in the "golden fashion triangle" in Milan.

Our charming accommodation (200 square meters) with private garden (1000 square meters) is situated just on the lake shore. Rose bushes, magnolias, azelias and many other flowers adorn the nice garden where you can sunbath on the large terrace over the small secret harbour. The lake can be easily accessed by the private small beach a few footsteps away.

Please take note: As with all houses close to towns, the sound of people and traffic can be heard. The lake road is located behind the rental, but once inside the beautiful garden that ends at the lake, you will not feel like you are in a noisy place. Only one room (the blue one) having windows towards the road can be noisy.

Furnished with style, Nuvoletta is spacious and comfortable, an ideal rental for people who want to be walking distance from the centre of the village.

Ground Floor

The dining room has a table for 8 people and is adjacent to the living room. Efficient eat-in kitchen with 4-burner gas stove, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge.

First Floor

Orange bedroom: spacious double bedroom with king size bed and beautiful lake views.

Blue bedroom: twin bedded room with beds of 120cm (for this reason twins cannot combine)

This last bedroom has windows towards the road so could be noisy. Bathroom with tub and separated shower.

Second Floor

Pink bedroom: twin bedded room with large windows facing the lake (the 2 beds can be fitted as one double bed). Bathroom with tub and shower.

All the bedrooms are provided with mosquito screens and fans.

Bed and bath linen changed weekly. Beach towels are provided.

Please note:

All the bathrooms and bedrooms are upstairs therefore the villa is unsuitable to people with walking difficulties.

There is a fish pond in the garden. It is not very large: about a couple of meters of diameter.

We think that families with small children have to be informed about this.

IN GENERAL: If you are staying in a resort a general hubbub associated to everyday life could be present and do not forget that in Mediterranean countries, the local people live their lives according to different timetable. In summertime music can be heard even though there are laws to control it.

Rental Notes

Cleaning included 2 hrs/each Wednesday and Saturday. Additional hours on request at E. 10.00/hr.

• Arona (all services, railroad station): 10 minutes by car or bus
• Malpensa airport: 45 minutes - 1 hour by car
• Milan, 1 hour by train or by car

The villa is 200 mq. The garden is 1000 sqm, all the bedrooms have mosquito screens. Cars can be parked inside the property.

Just behind the villa there is a good and inexpensive Pizzeria. There is a sporting centre with a tennis court and pool which is located a few meters away.

All shops at 700 meters (of easy road), there, you can find good grocery shops and restaurants and there is also the possibility to order and take out delicious meals at the nearby gastronomic shop. The ferry to the other lake towns and islands docks here too. Two golf courses are within 10-15 minutes' drive, with several less than an hour away. Just 10 km north is the town of Stresa. Arona is 4 km south while Switzerland is just half an hour away.

Bus stop is a 5 min walk away.
