Villetta Bruna is beautiful and large accommodation in a new villa, with its own gardens and shared pool. It is located on the hillside just above the village of Meina on the southern shores of Lake Maggiore , and only a five minute drive from the town of Arona. Easily accessible by road, train or air. This sought after location between Stresa and Arona offers magnificent surroundings and beautiful views. Villetta Bruna can accommodate 6 adults + 1 child in three bedrooms each with their own bathroom.
Villetta Bruna which has been constructed using high quality materials, lies on a large plot (17.000 sqm) where is the owner house and the shared pool. The two gardens are connected by a gate. The friendly, English-speaking owner will do everything possible to help you enjoy your stay without intruding. (Please have a look to the picture to see the distance between the two villas)

This spacious and bright ground floor apartment (175 sqm) faces the lake and provides generous accommodation for six people, with private bedrooms and bathrooms. Direct access to the gardens and a large terrace for shady lunches and romantic dinners with the lights of the lake sparkling in the foreground.
The access to the property is via a tarred road and remote controlled gates. There is a garage as well as outdoor, on-property parking. The villa has only two floors - the ground floor where your apartment is located and a lower ground floor with a small apartment with its own access (the son of the owner lives in this apartment during the week end).
Your apartment is accessed via your own front door and has a spacious living/dining room with direct access to the gardens and large terrace. Open, beautifully designed and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. There are three large bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin) equipped with satellite TV and three large bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. Central internet access point for those who want to keep in touch with home or business. All rooms have large windows with lake views. Villetta Bruna has been lovingly decorated with a mixture of contemporary and antique furniture.
The swimming pool, also with lake view, is situated 100m from the villa and has lounging areas with sun beds and parasols. BBQ
Please note: 1- a very friendly dog (German Shepherd) comes with the property. 2- Children 1 yo to 10 yo are not accepted.
The gardens are well tended with lawns and flowers as well as trees. There is a natural forest just next to the property which provides short walks.
Bed linen and towels are provided and changed once a week; a laundry service for personal items can be provided. In the house there is a washing machine: the maid will take care of the laundry.
Telephone
a) You can only make local calls as well as any necessary emergency calls with these telephones; telephone costs for incoming and local outgoing calls are included in the rent.
b) You can receive long-distance or international calls but you cannot make any yourself.
c) If you want to connect your computer to the Internet, it is  possible to go online with a User ID and password given to you by the house owner at your request.
The location is peaceful and private, yet also convenient. Meina is 800 downhill: there, you can find grocery shops and restaurants and there is also the possibility to order and take out delicious meals at the nearby gastronomic shop. The ferry to the other lake towns and islands docks, the beach and a sports club with tennis courts and a pool are a 5 minute drive from the villa. Two golf courses are within 10-15 minutes' drive, with several other less than an hour away. Just 10 km north is the town of Stresa. Arona is 4 km south  while Switzerland is just half an hour away.

Special notes and restrictions:
The owner has a dog. For safety reasons the owner does not accept small children from 1 y.o. to 11 y.o. and we think that the dog could be a problem for any people with walking difficulties.
- Upon request and approval of the owner a late arrival is possible between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm for an extra fee of 50 Euro
