Casa Fracobele is a nicely furnished apartment located on the second floor (no elevator) of a former barn. This antique house is just right in the centre of Madulain, a small and quite village of few well kept houses.
Casa Fracobele sleeps up to 4 in 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is the perfect place for those who want to spend a great holidays in one of the most famous and magnificent place in Switzerland, the Engadina valley. During the winter the whole valley is covered by meters and meters of white snow. It is possible to ski on the renowned mountains of Diavolezza and Corvatsch. In summer the mountains become all green, the fields are full of flowers and it is possible to play any kind of sports such as golf, horse riding, hiking, tennis and many others. One of the most impressive characteristics of this valley are the three blue lakes where it possible to practice any kind of water sports. And we don’t have to forget that the chic and nice town of Saint Moritz is just at 11 km…for shopping and going out during the night! Casa Fracobele can be rented together with Casa Madulain located on the third floor of the same building and with the studio.

THE AREA
The little village of Madulain is located at only 11 km from the famous Saint Moritz, in the heart of the Engadina valley. It is a very quiet and well kept village of few houses and a little church. In Madulain there are a mini market where it is possible to buy fresh milk, bread and news paper, a restaurant and (very important) a small tourist office and a bus stop. At few meters from the house there is also a playground with games for kids and a basket ball ground. All this is at a walking distance from the house.
From Madulain it is possible to easily reach other little towns in the valley Le Punt – Chamues km 1; Samaden 7 km; Celerina 9 km; Saint Moritz 11 km & Zuoz, 6 km.
In these larger villages there are Post offices, Hospital, pharmacy, supermarkets and elegant shops, restaurants and bars.

DESCRIPTIONS
Casa Fracobele is located on the second floor of ancient building right in the centre of the village. In the past this building was a barn. Now the house is an elegant condo with 5 apartments, three of which belong to the owner of Casa Fracobele. The entrance on the ground floor is shared.
Casa Fracobele measures about  100 sq m. It is on the second floor (26 steps) of the building and it does not have the elevator. A garage is available for guests (only one car); there are also parking lots for three extra cars just in front of the building, these are shared with the owner when he is there and with the guest of Casa Madulain if rented at the same time.
The house is elegantly refined in boiserie conforming with the typical style of this region.
Casa Fracobele consists of a bright living room with two flowery sofas (2 single sofa beds), large windows overlooking the mountains, a dining table for 6 and a fully equipped kitchen corner (fridge, freezer, oven, electric range, sink, American coffee machine).
The apartment features a cozy master bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom with bath tub.
One twin (double) bedroom with spacious closet and a bathroom with bath tub.  Washing machine is available.
On the ground floor of the building there is also a communal laundry room with a dryer.

Activities
Casa Fracobele is a perfect family house for those who want to enjoy a great holiday in the mountains. In winter it is possible to go skiing on the ski resorts of Diavolezza, Corvatsch, Forcella…etc. A car is needed to reach the main ski resorts.
Also from the house it is very easy to reach the ski slope of langlauf over the shining iced lakes.
During the summer it is possible to practice many different kinds of sports.
Near the house - 4 km - there is a 18 holes golf club. There is also another golf club in Samaden and another one in Saint Moritz.
It is also possible to do bike tours, horse riding, hiking, climbing, water sports on the three blue lakes (sailing or wind surf, fishing, kayak). SPA in Scuol.
A public swimming pool is available in Zernez at 20 km. Tennis is available in Zuoz at 5 km.
The Night life in Saint Moritz
Saint Moritz is one of the most popular and elegant ski resorts in Europe. Several VIP such as Armani, Etro and others own beautiful houses in Le Pont – Chamues, Celerina and Saint Moritz. For those who loves going out in the night we have to remember that Saint Moritz offers any sort of elegant restaurants, bars, shops and clubs.
