This lovely apartment is located on the piano nobile of Palazzo Morelli, an ancient building of the 16th century, completely restored and situated just behind the beautiful Santa Croce square.

The owner of the apartment, a famous photographer and writer, has personally furnished and decorated this unique apartment with a perfect joining of modern taste and tradition. She has used a touch of high tech design, as well as few hints from the recent past of the 50’s 60’s n 70’s. It all converts into this charming apartment, with a relaxing feeling, despite it’s outstanding rich character.

An inspirational apartment that i truely adore. I recomend this one to anyone wanting to spend a few days in florence. In the heart of everything artistic and cultural, this apartment is a dream come true!

Santa Croce apartment measures 100 square meters.

It is located on the first floor with an elevator, and consists of a splendid entrance decorated with frescoes dating back to the 1700’s painted on the walls and high ceilings. An archway will lead you from the brightly coloured entrance into the modern living room with its white couches and marble fireplace (working fireplace). In the living room there is also a dining area with a table for four.

From the entrance a small corridor leads to a studio room. Also this room is completely decorated with frescoes, there is a SATELLITE TV, telephone, fax and Stereo, VHS. The sofa can be converted in a single sofa bed. This room could be also a bedroom for a guest. Next to the studio there is a bathroom with a shower. The studio room is connected with the large and bright kitchen which has the access to a lovely terrace with table. This is a perfect place for al fresco dinner during summer!!

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher, gas range, Squezzer, American coffee machine.

The devotion and care of the well trained owner’s eye for aesthetic, is remarkably clear in the choice of material used in the bedroom; wood on top of everything, inparticular the bed, a crossover between a traditional wooden bed, and a most modern futon. (Queen size bed - can not be separated). This bedroom has an en suite bath room area with sink and tub, with glass walls.

The WC is located in a different area enclosed with bedroom.

Despite its first floor position, the architecture of the surrounding buildings, with their private courtyards, allows a particular lightening condition, keeping its secluded character.
