Located in the hills surrounding Florence, the apartments at Bel Raccolto are located in a small village near Carmignano. This is a wonderful area for touring Tuscany because of its central location and proximity to Florence.

Shops and a bus stop are located within a mile of the estate, and there is an excellent restaurant within walking distance that was once the home of Leonardo da Vinci’s grandmother. The closest train station is in Prato (15 km). Pisa, Siena, Lucca, and Pistoia are within easy daytrip distance. An 18-hole golf course is just five minutes’ drive, and the chic beach resorts of Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio can be reached in an hour.

Villa Bel Raccolto (sleeps 14)

  • Two-story high entrance hall with library up above designed to let in light.

  • Seven air conditioned bedrooms furnished with antiques and outfitted with satellite flat-screened TVs. Four are master bedrooms (queen beds) and three have two twin beds. One of the twin rooms is best for children, as it is smaller than the others.
  • Seven modern bathrooms with showers en suite to the bedrooms. One of the bathrooms also has a tub.
  • The largest master bedroom is sunken, with a ceiling two stories high, exposed stone wall and views. Its bathroom is up one flight.

This is the largest apartment of the four. It is built on two levels, with a view of the pool and the surrounding hills.

This is the smallest apartment, housed in the original space of the old barn, on the ground floor of the farmhouse.
