Ippolita is a unique apartment located on the second floor, or “piano nobile,” of a landmarked Florentine palazzo set in an outstanding location inside the historical city center. The apartment, meticulously maintained with every detail restored to perfection, faces the famous Cappelle Medicee, which dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries. When you step outside the door, you find yourself strolling in the city’s oldest neighborhood, and the Santa Maria Novella Rail station is only 5 minutes away by foot. The location is within walking distance to shopping, world famous museums and galleries, and the city’s finest outdoor monuments, besides plenty of restaurants and cafés with ample sidewalk seating perfect for soaking up the atmosphere. The history and integrity of this historic home remain intact, enhanced by modern amenities.

LIVING SPACES
The living room with comfortable sofas, facing a large TV with Netflix, and beautiful antiques boasts an exquisite original 18th century frescoed soaring ceiling, depicting an allegory of music. Two bright windows facing the Cappelle Medicee let the natural light flood into the house. Completely frescoed library/tea room, perfect as a place to relax, unwind and enjoy one of the many art books available on the well-stocked bookshelves of the house. Traditional dining room hosts the most important frescoed ceiling of the Palazzo and it is marked with classic style. The warm wood antiques, several oil paintings of various periods, and the Murano hand-blown glass chandelier create an elegant space for formal dining. Two large windows let in plenty of natural light. The special characteristic of this house resides mostly in the details—from the delightful soaring frescoed ceilings and elaborate crown moldings, to the dark wood furnishings that add richness throughout the apartment. A fully equipped modern A/C eat-in kitchen and a laundry room complete this floor.

Florence, a medieval city of timeless artistic beauty is there to be discovered. The beautiful Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore, the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, the Pitti Palace, and Ponte Vecchio are only few of the city’s most famous architectural masterpieces. Check at least one of its museums – we like the Academy of Fine Arts, which houses Michelangelo’s superb David. Stroll the narrow streets of Florence, the cradle of the Reinassance, and marvel at the richness of this real open museum. Enjoy a cappuccino on one of its piazzas, or a colorful gelato to cool off the summer heat. Whatever you do, don’t pinch yourself…you are not dreaming!

Toscana - Tuscany

Tuscany is the place we all dream of….The place we want to retire to, and it is that place that will echo in your heart for a life time once you have stayed there and felt the essence of the organic life that passes by there each day.

With fields of sunflowers as far as they eye can see, olive groves and vineyards lining every street corner make Tuscany’s country side a picture worth painting. With its abundance of  tiny medieval towns scattered around the hills, open air markets where locals gather each Saturday morning to offer their produce such as Truffle oil, olives, chianti wine, cured meats etc makes Tuscany the perfect place to visit for those that love food, wine and history.
