[post_content] => Inside Lucca's famous walls, this elegant & beautifully restored apartment is spacious & light filled. Well equipped kitchen & dining leads onto the terrace as does the sep Living Room. An added bonus is a delightful study, perfect for quiet reading. Furnishings are a blend of the old and the new, with restored pieces from the famous Lucca Antique Market and contemporary pieces by top Italian designers, Moroso, Artimede, & Zanotto. From every room you are rewarded with amazing views of Lucca.
The space
Casa Maria accommodates 8 comfortably with sep areas for solo time. It has AirCon, WiFi and TV. As well as 2 bathrooms there is an extra toilet in the sep laundry... very convenient with larger groups. Lovingly renovated with the best in mind.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with 58 steps up. There is no elevator.
There are experienced cleaners and the property is spotless. Laura is the local manager. She is the best!
Check in is between 3pm and 8pm, with some scope for an earlier check in where possible. If check in is after 8pm the manager will require a payment of E.35 upon arrival.
Guest access
Everything in the apartment is for your use.
The spacious apartment is family friendly however small children must not be on the patio unattended.
If you have requirements for INFANTS, a baby cot and small high chair is on request. The cost of these items is E50 per stay and payable in cash to Laura.
Other things to note
A spacious apartment for a large family or multiple couples. With Pisa Airport only 30 minutes away, Florence 75 minutes on the train and 20kms to the coast, it is a perfect base to explore both the medieval town of Lucca & other Tuscan towns, including the Cinque Terre.
The Area
Just minutes from Piazza San Michele and next door to the popular Trattoria Da Leo. Should you choose to stay here the best list of cafes, bars, restaurants and everything you could possibly need during your stay will be provided. Lucca is extremely safe and very child friendly and there's always something interesting happening in town.
