TUSCANY

Villa Simonetta, built in 1800, just recently very tastefully restored by its owners. From its classic detailed exteriors to its romantic elegant interiors, Villa Simonetta exudes comfort and sophistication. From here, you can reach Florence in 30 minutes by bus using the bus stop which is just a few hundred yards from the villa, or by train via the Calenzano train station, only 2.5 km from the villa. This two-story villa boasts spacious, light-filled rooms, with many original details, including beautiful antiques, hardwood floors, high ceilings, and an open-well central staircase. The private swimming pool is set in the villa’s lush enclosed garden, an ideal antidote to the summer heat.

LIVING SPACES
Ground Floor:
Every elegant room of Villa Simonetta has an individual character and charm. The chic open living room features, besides two fireplaces, several tastefully upholstered sofas for relaxing, reading, watching TV, or holding a pleasant conversation among friends. An adjacent space provides a generous dining table that comfortably sits up to 10 people. In these east-facing rooms, the morning sun is dominant thanks to four large windows that let the natural light in. A separate reading room with large screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen and a guest bathroom complete this floor.

Lower Floor:
An additional equipped kitchen room dedicated to host cooking classes of all levels mastered by our chefs. A separate laundry is equipped with washing and dryer machine.

OUTDOOR FEATURES
The portico hosts a dining table for friends and family to gather for breakfast or for meals al fresco and it shades the seating area from the hot Tuscan sun. A comfortable lounge area is set among 4,000 sq m of private park, surrounded by a privacy fence of shrubbery, perfect for shaded relaxing time or for sipping a glass of bubbly prosecco wine. Another lounge area is available near the private swimming pool (3 m x 7 m) and it sets the tone for relaxing and sunbathing in style.
An outdoor Jacuzzi hot tub with hydrotherapy allows guests to enjoy the garden in every month of the year.

You will be totally enchanted by Villa Simonetta, not only for its elegant style and easy comfort, but also for its location – perfect for day trips! The villa is a 20-minute drive from Florence airport and close to the most sought-after destinations in Tuscany, approx. one hour each from Lucca, Forte dei Marmi, Pisa, Siena and the Chianti area. A few shops, restaurants, and emergency services are within walking distance from the villa. Besides many local activities you can book with our dedicated concierge, tennis courts are in the nearest surrounding of the villa (reservation requested) and three Golf courses are located between 15 and 35 km distance.

Famous for its art and architecture, Florence is an obligatory destination for the first-timer visitor of Italy. However, while exploring the historical center is something that cannot be missed, the pristine studded landscapes and the enchanted medieval villages set on the famous Tuscan rolling hills surrounding Florence are well worth a visit.
The most famous area to explore is the Chianti, a blessed land that covers a rather large wine-producing region of Tuscany, reaching from Florence to Siena, and all the way out to Pisa. Chianti’s must see sights are the wine villages of Castellina, Radda and Gaiole. Along the road visit the Badia di Coltibuono and/or Castello di Brolio and do not forget to pick up some wine to enjoy at the villa!
