The Val di Cecina offers a richly varied palette of experiences for every kind of traveler. Nature lovers can explore dramatic landscapes unlike anywhere else in Italy — from surreal geothermal vents and pale clay hills to ancient chestnut forests, gentle river valleys, and a pristine pine-fringed coastline. History runs deep here: Etruscan necropolises, Roman villas, medieval hilltop villages, and centuries-old copper mines tell the story of a land continuously inhabited and shaped over millennia. The region is also a quiet paradise for food and wine lovers, sitting at the heart of some of Tuscany’s finest wine routes, with local produce, traditional bakeries, and authentic trattorias at every turn. Nestled in this remarkable landscape, Villa Verdezza combines privacy and accessibility, offering 35 hectares of surrounding private land while remaining just a 5-minute drive from essential amenities and 20 minutes from the stunning hilltop city of Volterra. Thoughtfully designed for year-round comfort, it caters to discerning guests seeking a refined and elevated experience of Tuscany at its most authentic.

OUTDOOR FEATURES
A covered wrap around portico extends the living space outdoors, furnished for aperitivo lounging, dining and equipped with an outdoor kitchen, BBQ, and wood-fired pizza oven. Famous for the Leaning Tower, Pisa is a must-see once in a life destination for the visitors of Italy. However, while exploring the Miracle Square is something that cannot be missed, the unique and picturesque villages set in the surrounding areas of Pisa are worth a visit.
The most famous area to explore is the hills of Volterra, a medieval city embraced by rolling hills where you can admire Etruscan and Roman sites and learn the alabaster art from local craftsmen. Going just a bit further reach San Gimignano and do not forget to pick up some wine on the way to enjoy at the villa.

Toscana - Tuscany

Tuscany is the place we all dream of….The place we want to retire to, and it is that place that will echo in your heart for a life time once you have stayed there and felt the essence of the organic life that passes by there each day.

With fields of sunflowers as far as they eye can see, olive groves and vineyards lining every street corner make Tuscany’s country side a picture worth painting. With its abundance of  tiny medieval towns scattered around the hills, open air markets where locals gather each Saturday morning to offer their produce such as Truffle oil, olives, chianti wine, cured meats etc makes Tuscany the perfect place to visit for those that love food, wine and history.
