The area of Lake Como is abundant in picturesque towns with narrow cobbled streets, breathtaking views, and lovely homes and gardens, best visited from late spring to early fall. Take a stroll through the city of Como to enjoy its history and architecture, then hop on the ferry and head north to visit other towns on the lakeshore.
However, there is more to do in this area than traditional sightseeing. Visitors can book a flight over the lake by seaplane or take the funiculare (hillside trolley) to Brunate and enjoy spectacular views from above. Extreme sports enthusiasts can enjoy paragliding off of Mount Nuvolone. Interior Description
Villa Cremia can accommodate up to 12 guests in six bedrooms and four bathrooms, being on different levels it is not recommended to guest with walking difficulties. Parents with young kids must be aware that the pool is not fenced.
Garden level: Spacious and bright ground floor living area with large sliding glass doors towards the lake offering breathtaking views of the blue water, pool and the coast. Sofas area, Sat-TV and dining area. Well equipped kitchen with coffee machine (filter), cooking stove (4 flames/oven), dishwasher, big fridge, toaster.
Mezzanine: (few steps up) One twin/double bedroom, a second twin/double bedroom (beds can be pushed together) sharing a modern bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. There is a further double bedroom with en suite bathroom (bathtub and separate shower). All bedrooms have access to their terraces. All bedrooms are at the garden level.
Upper floor: Upstairs there are three further double bedrooms with twin beds that can be pushed together, except for one, sharing a bathroom with a shower.
Basement: It is equipped with an infrared sauna, Jacuzzi, a fourth bathroom with a shower. Relax Area with 2 lounge chairs. In this room there are also 2 brand new tatami with futon, which can be used as extra beds ( extra fee is requested ).
There is a large games room with a pool table, table football and children's games area. Laundry room with washer. An extra fridge is available on this floor.

[post_content] => Verbano is a spacious and comfortable cottage which sleeps 8 peoples in four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
It is located 1km uphill from the village of Meina - a peaceful lakeside town with cobbled streets on the western shore of Lake Maggiore.
Casa VERBANO is not on the lakeshore, but is located above the lake and the village. Due to its position, the cottage enjoys magical views of the lake and the mountains beyond. The small manicured garden features a panoramic pool (4,5 m x 9 m).The pool is not fenced.
Meina has shops, services, restaurants, and a sport centre with tennis and pool.
There are 8 golf courses within 15-40 minutes’ drive. (Golf Club Castelconturbia 2 OPEN D’ITALIA)
The town of Stresa is 10 km north, while Arona is 4 kilometers south. Switzerland is just half an hour away.

LAKE MAGGIORE
In a surrounding of extraordinary beauty Lake Maggiore offers to its visitors spectacular gardens boasting exceptional collections of camellias, azaleas and rhododendrons, historic villas and castles, sacred routes, medieval churches. An impressive number of parks are located here such as the Parco Nazionale della Val Grande (the largest wilderness area in Italy). The mountains, beyond the lake are wonderful, and each little village with its painted houses seems a terrace on the water.
In the centre of the lake float the three enchanted Borromeo Islands.
The Isola Madre and Isola Bella, where are the Borromeo palaces and gardens and the charming Isola dei Pescatori (fishermen island). In front of Stresa stands, just above the water, on a rocky cliff the Eremo di Santa Caterina.
The car free town of Orta S Giulio is a little jewel.
Visit the 20 frescoed small chapels of the Sacro Monte above Orta San Giulio, with their of terracotta sculptures illustrating scenes from the life of Saint Francis. From Orta charming lakeside square you can admire the island of San Giulio, dominated by the ancient basilica and the convent.
A little farther in the inland is the Villa della Porta-Bozzolo in Casalzuigno, a masterpiece of early eighteenth-century landscaping.
Many sports activities can be practiced in Lake Maggiore such as sailing, water skiing, canoeing, golfing (7 golf courses in the area), trekking horse riding.
