The Villa Grazie farmhouse is located in Cortona, nestled in the green Tuscan countryside. It offers three splendid apartments, elegantly furnished in classic Tuscan style, surrounded by a beautiful park with a swimming pool and hot tub. The property, dating back to the 1700s and owned by a historic Cortona family, has been meticulously restored, combining traditional features with modern comforts for an unforgettable stay in Cortona amidst history, art, and nature.

The main building of the estate complex is the main villa, an important historical monument dating back to the 17th century. The other large building on the property, which extends over two levels, houses two spacious apartments ( Gelsi and Ginestre ), each with a private entrance and garden. The third apartment (I Girasoli ) is located in the independent cottage . The apartments can be rented individually or together for exclusive use and greater privacy, sleeping up to 16 people.

The Le Ginestre apartment is located on the first floor of the farmhouse and can accommodate up to 6 people, with the option of an additional sofa bed for up to 8. The apartment comprises a spacious living room with a stone fireplace, a dining room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, and a bedroom with two single four-poster beds.

All bedrooms have private bathrooms: one with a whirlpool tub and shower, one with a whirlpool shower, and one with a shower. The apartment also has a fourth bathroom with a shower, its own private entrance leading to a garden and a private outdoor space with a dining area and barbecue.

The Le Ginestre apartment is connected to the I Gelsi apartment by an internal staircase, so they can be rented together to accommodate up to 12 people. If the apartments are rented individually, the connecting staircase is closed to ensure privacy.

Villa Grazie is located at the foot of the Cortona hill, a town of Etruscan origins famous worldwide for its historical and artistic beauty and fine cuisine: a must-see on your Tuscan holiday.

The farmhouse’s strategic location is also ideal for visiting other artistic gems and famous Tuscan and Umbrian towns such as Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Florence, Siena, Perugia, Assisi, and Orvieto, all easily accessible by car and train.

The park-like garden surrounding the villa and pool is perfect for relaxing strolls in the open air. Staying at the Tuscan farmhouse, nature lovers and those seeking tranquility will enjoy breathtaking views of Cortona and its rolling hills. The park is characterized by rare, centuries-old plants and a wide variety of botanical species, including sequoias, plane trees, horse chestnuts, cedars, and palms, demonstrating the property’s outstanding natural beauty.

Long avenues of centuries-old cypress trees and lime trees, extensive cultivated farmland, terraced vineyards and olive groves, and coniferous forests blend with exotic trees and ornamental features such as stone basins and small bridges, in keeping with the tradition of noble villas typical of Cortona’s 18th-century history.
In the garden behind the main villa, you’ll find the large 7 x 14 pool with Roman steps and a hot tub, equipped with a gazebo, deck chairs, and sun loungers for relaxing moments to the sound of birdsong.

Toscana - Tuscany

Tuscany is the place we all dream of….The place we want to retire to, and it is that place that will echo in your heart for a life time once you have stayed there and felt the essence of the organic life that passes by there each day.

With fields of sunflowers as far as they eye can see, olive groves and vineyards lining every street corner make Tuscany’s country side a picture worth painting. With its abundance of  tiny medieval towns scattered around the hills, open air markets where locals gather each Saturday morning to offer their produce such as Truffle oil, olives, chianti wine, cured meats etc makes Tuscany the perfect place to visit for those that love food, wine and history.
