Villa Ieranto is located a short distance from the beach at Marina del Cantone. Once an ancient fishing village, today it’s a renowned tourist hot-spot with a small center surrounded by villas, hotels, and some of the best Michelin-starred restaurants on the peninsula. The villa is a gem embedded in the Sorrento Peninsula, a paradise sought out for its underwater caves, crystal sea, local hospitality, and greenery that surrounds the coast.
It sleeps up to 12 people in 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
This villa is one of the very few to provide its guests direct and comfortable descent towards the sea – via a private cable car!
There is also an elevator that can take guests from the parking area to villa and a second elevator in the main house.
Exterior Description
The luxurious two-story villa is surrounded by large, furnished terraces which overlook the sea, with amazing views of Marina del Cantone and the Li Galli islands.
Panoramic terrace gardens descending towards the sea are fitted with a private cable car, so guests can enjoy a private and easy descent to the sea. Guests can also choose to walk to the pebble beach. The private heated, lighted infinity pool (9 m x 3.9 m x 1.2 m – 1.7 m, open year-round) is positioned directly over the sea. It’s fitted with hydromassage seats.
The terrace on the ground floor (140 sqm) surrounding the villa is decorated with a fully furnished lounge and a shaded dining area with great views.
Interior Description
Main Villa – 200 sqm
Upper Floor: You will reach the upper floor of the villa from the parking area and from the entrance gate directly with a private elevator or through an external stone staircase of about 30 steps. On this floor there is a large terrace which provides access the bedrooms, which all have panoramic sea views.
The first bedroom has a double bed (160 cm x 190 cm) and a single bed (80 cm x 190 cm).
The second bedroom has both a double bed (160 cm x 190 cm) and a small single bed, 80 cm x 190 cm (with an extra pull-out bed).
This floor’s third bedroom provides twin beds (80 cm x 190 cm). All bedrooms on this floor have satellite TV with English channels available, a minibar, safe, air conditioning, and heating, and ensuite bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and bidet, and hairdryer.
Ground Floor: There is a panoramic living room, which has a lounge area, a large satellite tv, three sofas, and a large dining table. The villa’s kitchen has a stove, electric oven, microwave refrigerator-freezer, wine rack, ice machine, dishwasher, Italian moka pot, American coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, and other small appliances.
Both the kitchen and living room offer access to the terrace, which has a barbecue and wood-burning pizza oven. The fourth bedroom has a double bed (160 cm x 190 cm), satellite TV, air conditioning and heating, and ensuite bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, bidet, and hairdryer.
On this floor there is a laundry room with washing machine, drying racks, an iron and ironing board. There is a guest bathroom with sink and toilet.
The service room is equipped with single bed, wardrobe, bedside table with attached bathroom with shower and toilet. You will reach the service room through the laundry room.
The villa will be supplied with linen and beach towels of first quality; boat, chef, pizza maker and other services are available on request.

THE AREA
Situated in an exceptional strategic position, between Sorrento and Positano, Villa Ieranto is set in a splendid coast of some twenty-one kilometers. From here it is possible to reach many tourist resorts spectacular hikes, including: the nearby Sorrento, the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, Naples and Vesuvius, Capri and Ischia or famous or even through the beautiful Amalfi drive to discover the pearls of Amalfi Coast with Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, and many other places.
Villa Ieranto is located not far from the beach of Marina del Cantone in Nerano, an ancient fishing village that today is a renowned tourist resort famous for its pebble beaches and clear waters, an open and peaceful bay for those who love the wild sea and prefer to stay out of the most known destinations. During the Patron day (Sant’Antonio, June 13th) it is possible to assist to interesting events and celebrations, such as the traditional gozzi competition (the typical boat of Sorrento Coast), held in the June 13th afternoon, or the traditional procession by sea in the evening. At the end of the liturgical celebrations, all the people gather for a festival on the beach, with seafood specialties and live music.
From the beach of Marina del Cantone, through a panoramic trail, it’s possible to reach the characteristic beach of Recommone, a small piece of paradise.
