Just south of Positano, within 10-15 minutes walking distance to the centre, The Rocks and La Roccia occupy the top two floors of a large building above the road. The property is on a steep incline, with 45 small stairs leading up to the entrance. (This is one of the shortest climbs to any of the villas in this area, where the villas hang to the cliffs and are accessed by staircases cut into the rock.) The rooms are huge and there are two very beautiful large terraces on the front that offer spectacular panoramic views of the rocky cliffs, seacoast villages and the Galli Islands. A small swimming pool is shared.
When you can bring yourself to leave the views, you will find that all of the delights of the Amalfi area are nearby, including Salerno, Sorrento (13 km), Amalfi, and Ravello. Take a boat or a hydrofoil to Sorrento or the romantic Isles of Capri and Ischia. Explore the ancient sites of Pompeii, Paestum and Herculeum. The area is also known for its wonderful restaurants and shopping. A bus stops 200 meters from the property, so you do not need to have a car in the area if you do not want to drive the curving roads; in fact, we strongly discourage renting a car in the summer months. However, if you do want to rent a car, there is free parking for two cars. Across the street, two hundred steps lead directly down to the community beach below.
The villa was once divided into two apartments. Each level has its own entrance. Views, convenience to the main street, spaciousness, cleanliness and wonderful terraces are the outstanding features of this house. Anyone would be delighted to stay here!

A small rooftop apartment, Terrazza (1 bedrooms/1 bathroom; 626 sq ft) can be rented for larger groups.
