Studio, Switzerland - Italian Villa Vacations

In the same building as Casa Fracobele and Casa Madulain there is also a nicely furnished studio apartment for 2 people. The studio has been restored this year and it is a perfect location for those who want to spend a great holiday in one of the most famous and magnificent places of Switzerland, the Engadina valley. During the winter the whole valley is covered by meters and meters of white snow. It is possible to ski on the renowned mountains of Diavolezza and Corvatsch. In summer the mountains become all green, the fields are full of flowers and many sports are available such as golf, horse riding, hiking, tennis. One of the most impressive characteristics of this valley are the three blue lakes where you can enjoy water sports, and of course there is also the chic and nice town of Saint Moritz just 11 kms away which is fantastic for shopping and night life! The Studio can be rented together with CasaMadulain and Casa Fracobele located in the same building.

THE AREA
The little village of Madulain is located just 11 kms from the famous Saint Moritz, in the heart of the Engadina valley. It is a very quiet and well kept village made up of just a few houses and a little church. In Madulain there is a mini market where it is possible to buy fresh milk, bread and a newspaper, a restaurant and (very important) a small tourist office and a bus stop. A few meters from the house there is also a playground with games for kids and a basket ball ground. All this is walking distance from the house.

From Madulain it is easily possible to reach other little towns in the valley such as Le Punt – Chamues km 1; Samaden 7 km; Celerina 9 km; Saint Moritz 11 km & Zuoz, 6 km.

In these larger villages there are Post offices, Hospitals, pharmacy, supermarkets, elegant shops, restaurants and bars.

DESCRIPTION
This nice one room apartment has been totally restored and tastefully furnished by the owner in 2006. Perfect for a couple.

It is located on the first floor of the building and it measures 40 sq meters.

It consists of a living area with a large sofa which can be converted into a French bed for 2; a dining area with a table for 4 and a kitchen corner fully equipped with sink, fridge, electric cook top, American coffee machine and oven. The room has access to a little terrace.

A washing machine is available and on the ground floor of the building there is also a communal laundry room with a dryer.

The apartment has a bathroom with tub. TV is available.

Activities
The Studio is a perfect place for a couple who want to enjoy a great holiday in the mountains. In winter it is possible to go skiing on the ski resorts of Diavolezza, Corvatsch, Forcella…etc. A car is needed to reach the main ski resorts.

Also from the house it is very easy to reach the ski slope of langlauf over the shining iced lakes.

During the summer it is possible to practice many different kinds of sports.

Near the house - 4 km - there is an 18 hole golf club. There is also another golf club in Samaden and another one in Saint Moritz.

It is also possible to do bike tours, horse riding, hiking, climbing, water sports on the three blue lakes (sailing or wind surf, fishing, kayaingk).

A public swimming pool is available in Zernez at 20 km. Tennis is available in Zuoz at 5 km.

The Night life in Saint Moritz
Saint Moritz is one of the most popular and elegant ski resorts in Europe. Several VIP such as Armani, Etro and others own beautiful houses in Le Pont – Chamues, Celerina and Saint Moritz. For those who love going out in the night we have to remember that Saint Moritz offers every sort of elegant restaurant, bar, shop and club.
